[news] Kim Hyung Jun to Hold Japan Tour Next Month
SS501‘s maknae Kim Hyung Jun's debut drama KBS "Glowing She! (She's Completely Insane!)" will make its premiere in Japan in March. In promotion for the drama, the idol will kick off a nationwide tour in Japan next month.
According to his official Japanese website, Kim Hyung Jun will kick off a promotional tour in three different cities with a total of six shows. He will hold mini concerts in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
"Glowing She! (She's Completely Insane!)" tells the story of a star, a producer and a director, and the love triangle story that develops in the midst of their careers. Kim Hyung Jun acts as the top star, Kang Min, with the king of rudeness who will have a romance with broadcast writer, So E Hyun.
The drama, helmed by producer Lee Jung-pyo, is a 12-part series on KBS cable channel KBS-N. The pilot episode aired last January 7th.

[news] Kim Hyun Joong attempts to eat a hot chili pepper from Okinawa
Singer Kim Hyun Joong, who
recently released his debut album in Japan, guest-featured on a Japanese
television program to show off his entertainment skills.
According to Oricon, the leading Japanese music authority, the singer was able to experience a bit of Okinawa — a city he’s always wanted to visit. Through Fuji TV‘s ‘Sakigake! Music Ranking Eight‘, Kim Hyun Joong finally received a chance to indirectly experience the culture of Okinawa.
The program gave him the opportunity to taste different foods unique to Okinawa, including one of Okinawa’s indigenous hot chili peppers. Fans grew curious to see how well he would handle the heat, as the singer enjoys spicy food in his everyday life.
A representative from the program remarked, “We launched this program in order to see side of celebrities that are hard to see on other programs.”
Whether or not Kim Hyun Joong was able to successfully stomach the chili will be revealed in the February 8th episode of ‘Sakigake! Music Ranking Eight’.

[news] Local media focused on Kim Hyun Joong's very successful debut concert
Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong successfully completed a concert debut in Japan.
Kim Hyun Joong held his debut 'Premium Live 2012' concert at Yokohama Arena in Japan last February 5, 2012. The concert was attended by 20,000 fans proving how very popular he is.
The fans were so enthusiastic and excited. They flocked around the theater five hours earlier before the show began.
Among
the local media who showed interest on the concert were Fuji TV and
Nihon TV, as well as Nikkan Sports, Sankei Sports Japan, including other
major media networks who covered the fans and the concert itself.
Kim
Hyun Joong sang 'Kiss Kiss', 'Lucky Guy', 'Break Down' and other hit
songs. His activities in Japan were also revealed. Talk time was also
enjoyed by the fans.
Meanwhile, his debut album, which was released in Japan last January 25, has entered the Oricon's top three.

Kim Hyun Joong gave thanks for
the successful beginning of his Japanese debut. On February 5 Kim Hyun
Joong held a live concert celebrating his debut and it held 20,000 fans.
Kim Hyun Joong stated,
“My Japanese debut single ‘Lucky Guy’ had 10,000 sales in its first
week. Thank you for giving me such a good result even though I am just a
rookie. Thank you for all of the support.”
He continued, “I am sad that I wasn’t able to meet all the 60,000 fans that signed up for the concert. However I will try to have a memorable experience with the 20,000 fans that are here right now.”
Kim Hyun Joong donated all of the profits from the concert to an orphanage. He stated, “I hope that I can be at least a little bit of help. If you have any extra time please spend it for the children."

Hello everyone, I’m DA’s staff “T”.
Kim Hyun Joong took some time out of his crazily busy schedule and made a surprise appearance at Tower Records, Shibuya (a music chain store in Japan) and Yamano Gakki, Ginza.
It’s a last-minute decision, therefore we didn’t manage to inform you of it. However, a lot of fans still arrived at the venue upon hearing the news. Even Kim Hyun Joong himself was kind of dumbfounded too.
The exhibition at Tower Records, Shibuya will remain open until January 31st while another one at Yamano Gakki, Ginza has been extended until February 6th.
Everyone please go and take a look!
Furthermore, (Kim Hyun Joong) will be a guest on “Music Japan” tonight at 6:10pm. Don’t forget to turn on your TV and tune in to the channel.
